Summary: PennEnvironment strongly supports House Bill 2035, the Energy Efficiency Standards Act. House Bill 2035 sets minimum energy efficiency standards for 10 commercial and residential products sold in Pennsylvania beginning in 2005 or installed in Pennsylvania beginning 2006. These standards save residential and commercial customers money; reduce pollution in our environment; and reduce strain on our electricity systems.
