Philadelphia can lead by example

Having recently moved to Philadelphia, I am elated by its efforts to lead by example. Setting a goal to be the cleanest city is just one of the admirable directions our city is taking.

As reported by PennEnvironment, Americans spent $360 billion importing fossil fuels in 2007. By passing the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act, we will have the ability to create 1.7 million jobs for our own citizens as well as make us less reliant on other nations. With Pennsylvania being the third-largest polluter in the country, we need to clean up our act.
