Protect the Appalachian Trail
Pennsylvania’s
portion of the Appalachian Trail is one of the
state’s most important historic, recreational and natural resources.
Unfortunately, the Commonwealth’s section of the Trail is being
endangered by encroaching
development and other threats.
Last year, Pennsylvania Appalachian Trail Act
passed through the state House with bipartisan support that will help preserve
our portion of the Appalachian Trail from
destructive activities (HB1281). Now we need the state senate to approve this
legislation to guarantee that we can protect Pennsylvania’s section of the
Appalachian Trail.
Please send an e-mail to your state senator and ask them to
support HB1281 today.
