Background:

Nathan joined the organization’s staff during the summer of 2002, after previously working as the Global Warming Field Organizer for the U.S. Public Interest Research Group in Washington, D.C.

Nathan works to promote public policies and regulations that will improve energy efficiency in Pennsylvania, the use of renewable energy sources and energy production that won’t threaten the public’s health or the environment. He has testified before numerous state and federal legislative bodies and officials on issues including mercury pollution from coal-fired power plants, clean car technologies, renewable energy, appliance efficiency standards, global warming solutions and the public health impacts of air pollution.  Nathan graduated from American University in 2001 with a degree in environmental policy and political science.
